- TONE POET PRODUCTIONS was created in Toronto, Canada in ‘05 to present the production Piaf:LCA at The Toronto Fringe Festival.The show was awarded “Top 10 Patron's Pick”.It then toured Ontario/Quebec in the summer of ‘06 to great success.The Company presented the show in NYC in ‘07 as part of the FringeNYC winning “Outstanding Musical”.It was chosen to present at the Fringe Encore Series (Best of The FringeNYC).The Production had its first commercial Off-Broadway run at the SoHo Playhouse for a limited 10 week engagement 2007-2008,and then traveled to Charleston SC,Teaneck NJ and then to Manila in the Philippines.It had a successful run at Centaur Th. in Montreal then toured through British Columbia in the summer of ‘09 ending up at Th. Lac Brome in Knowlton QC.A run in Ottawa rounded off ‘09 and in 2010 the production was presented at the Supernova Th Festival in Halifax and will be at The Eureka Theatre in San Francisco in July.TPP is a multi-disciplinary production company developing performance and recording opportunities for theatre, music and live artists. It is also involved in music composition and production with Jake Langley as CEO and Naomi Emmerson as Artistic Producer.
